ASCA Nationals 2024 was held in Grand Island, Nebraska (a mere 1,500 mile distance from home). The pack did well over the two-week trip, below are some of the highlights from our household:
Elektra: She had a light schedule for the pre-trials, but finished strong going 10/12 over the week with 8 wins!
Prima: Some moments of brilliance in agility, sometimes all in the same run :-). She enjoyed dock jumping, tying for 1st in FetchIt and making the bonus round (took 2nd there). She has added a golf cart to her Christmas wish list.
Tempo (Q x Stella): HIT Elite and Overall Agility at the Lowands ASC pre-trial going 6/6 almost all with Top 3 placements; 15th overall in Agility Finals with 3rd place in Rd 2 Gamblers and 4th place in Rd 3 Regular. 3/6 at Nationals, winning both Jumpers rounds with Dave handling.
Vitesse (Tess (Case x Tori)): Only ran in Jumpers and Gamblers, earned 2 titles and got some great big-event experience with placements!
Pinto (Rhett x Quasar): Says being crated in the stall is boring but adjusted to RV life.
In addition, Brio (Buck x Boca) and Jody Faulkner had a fantastic outing, winning Veteran Agility Finals and coming in 2nd for HIT Veteran / 3rd for HIT Overall at Nationals.
